The Kennedy range of HSS-Co heavy duty straight shank jobber drills provide durable and reliable cutting performance at high temperatures and speeds thanks to the addition of 5% cobalt to their alloys. Their toughness and heat resistance allows them to to drill steels with tensile strength up to 1,400 N/mm², very hard bronze, stainless steels as well as heat and acid resistant steels.

Long lasting the cutting edges retain their sharpness for longer periods, maximising performance and productivity, whilst also being resistant to corrosion.

Comprised of a rolled chrome vanadium steel body, with drop-forged hardened steel jaws with corrosion-resistant bright nickel coating, these grip wrenches are ideally suited for heavy duty applications. The dual material handle design allows the user to apply the greatest force with the minimum amount of effort, whilst the jaw opening and clamping pressure can be adjusted with the knurled head screw. Each product is fitted with wire spring to ensure efficient opening of the jaws. The locking mechanism holds the wrench in place once adjusted, leaving both hands free. Available in two sizes.

Cut 3 - Rapid Cut.
for use on softer non ferrous and plastic materials, i.e aluminium, fibreglass, plastics, hard rubber and zinc alloy,

Cut 6 - Double Cut.
Crosscut and double cut to improve control and chipbreaks. Manufactured from high grade tungsten carbide for general-purpose use.

Cut 9 - Chipbreaker
Chipbreaker fast stock removal for improved control and reduced chips for use on hard materials, i.e. steel alloy 50RC, 60RC, carbon and cast iron.

Suitable for deburring and polishing of cast iron, cast steel, carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel etc.
up to HRC65 hardness.

Please note:
• Work piece and tools should always be steady and well supported.
• Carbide burrs are not suitable for 'milling' large amounts of material, they are for light stock removal and high revolutions 'LOW FEED - HIGH SPEED'.
• Always ensure that at least 70% of the shank length is clamped by the collet or chuck of the tool being used.
• Always ensure that the tool is rated to the recommended operating speed of the burr.
