Spark-resistant tools are used to eliminate the chances of accidental fires or explosions in potentially combustible or explosive environments. Spark-resistant tools must be maintained with special care. Frequent cleaning/re-dressing to remove ferrous particles or contaminants, which may impair the spark-resistant properties, is essential.

Used for insertion and removal of fasteners and fixings using 1/2"square drive tooling, this 20 piece socket set has applications that are most suited to the engineering industry. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel and fully chrome plated with a mirror finish and aluminium-free, all pieces in the set have a ball retaining groove on each face of the square drive.
