Featuring a carrying harness with a quick release lock and a simple pull-forward mechanism, you can quickly and easily adjust this carrying harness.

Improved carrier system
This ultra-tough carrying system features a carrying chamber frame of ultra-light, high-strength carbon composite, which is equipped with heat-resistant, impact-resistant and chemical-resistant properties. This harness's professional carrying system follows the body's natural curves, improving stability and reducing back strain, tension and fatigue. This system provides optimal comfort to the wearer's shoulders and waist with a balanced load distribution, which safely and comfortably aligns with the body's center of mass. In addition to maximum comfort, the Dräger PSS 4000 also uses the most durable and resilient materials available to minimize the environmental impact of even the most hostile environments.

Maximum performance harness material
The Dräger PSS 4000 uses the most modern harness materials, which have been designed to withstand the rigors of everyday firefighting challenges, but with an enhanced level of comfort. Combining a tough stainless steel buckle and durable aramid fiber blend webbing, it is perfect for long wear and frequent use.

Easy to maintain and function
As well as being fast and easy to maintain, the Dräger PSS 4000 is equipped with a variety of innovative design features that help reduce downtime and unnecessary maintenance costs. This shows that all the main components are simple and can be removed and reinstalled quickly. The harness is mounted on the carrier frame with an innovative containment method. For additional comfort, a first level pressure reducer is integrated into the carrying frame. The single-component harness design and closed waistband prevent excessive water absorption, reducing cleaning and drying time and optimizing energy efficiency.

Integrated hose
The meter and medium pressure air supply hoses are fully integrated into the carrier frame to reduce the risk of snagging and potential entanglement. This greatly improves security and safety when entering and working in tight spaces. Another added benefit is the ability to reroute the hose from one side to the other to meet customer requirements for accessing the meter. This design feature also supports easy replacement of each hose.

Wireless option
Increase your safety in the field with Dräger Bodyguard 1500, a personal warning safety system (PASS). These respiratory protection controls and immobility detectors generate visual and acoustic warning signals if you are in distress. Additionally, the system provides wireless data transmission between PASS and monitoring devices. The backlit Tx meter sends its pressure data wirelessly to the Bodyguard 1500 as well as to the Dräger FPS 7000 Head-Up-Display (HUD) when used. This feature provides automatic visual notification from Meter Tx and acoustic notification from PASS when air supply falls below user-defined limits.
