Measure current up to 100 A without breaking the circuit with OpenJaw™ design. The T5-1000 Electrical Tester is a versatile troubleshooting tool to carry to every job site. Use it to check voltage, continuity, and current–all with one compact tool.
How to use the T5-1000
Just select volts, ohms, or current and the tester does the rest. The electrical tester auto-selects between AC and DC voltage up to 1000 V.
Plus, the OpenJaw™ design allows for fast and easy current measurements without needing to make metallic contact, just slide a wire into the open fork. The continuity beeper offers a quick go/no-go tests, resistance measurements to 1000 Ω.
The electrical tester comes with detachable Slim Reach probe tips so you can easily work in tight spaces. Or hand free work when you use the test lead holder to make the meter an “extended handle” for the probe.
Key safety features
An integrated protection circuit allows the tester to stay connected to a voltage source longer than a solenoid tester. The T5-1000 Electrical Tester also boasts:
A CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600 V rating
Withstands a 10 ft. (3 m) drop.
The T5-1000 has and Auto-off mode to conserve battery life. The unit fits into an optional holster that attaches to a belt and neatly stows test leads.
Fluke T5-1000 vs T6-1000
The T5-1000 uses the OpenJaw™ design to measure current without metallic contact, just slide the wire in the open fork and the T5 will do the rest. It also measures voltage and continuity with the test leads. The T6-1000 (https://www.fluke.com/en-us/product/electrical-testing/basic-testers/fluke-t6-1000) is designed to use FieldSense™ technology to display both current and voltage simultaneously.
“This is a very good meter and I trust my life with it almost every day” - Kevin
Fluke’s two-pole voltage and continuity testers are built to work the way you work. They give you the best combination of safety, ease-of-use and fast answers available anywhere.
• Designed according to IEC EN 61243-3:2014 to verify the absence of voltage – even with discharged batteries.
• CAT IV 600 V, CAT III 690 V safety rating
• With 4 ways to indicate the presence of voltage – LED indicator, LCD display, audible tone or tactile feedback, always know if hazardous voltage is present (digital display on T130, T150, vibration indicator on T110, T130, T150)

Precision when you need it for infrared temperature calibration
Fluke 9132 and Fluke 9133 Portable Infrared Calibrators features: • Certify IR pyrometers from –30 °C to 500 °C (–22 °F to 932 °F) • Large 57 mm (2.25 in) blackbody target • RTD reference well for contact temperature measurement • Small, compact design in a blackbody calibrator
Whether you’re using in-line or handheld infrared pyrometers, you need good calibration standards to verify their accuracy. Our portable IR calibrators provide stable blackbody targets for calibrating noncontact IR thermometers from –30 °C to 500 °C.
These blackbody calibrator units feature a temperature controlled measurement surface with a diameter of 2.25 in (57 mm). The target temperature can be controlled in set-point increments of 0.1° from –30 °C to 500 °C and a well is located directly behind the blackbody surface for contact temperature measurement.
